Ian is a Licentiate of the Australian Institute of Professional Photography, and a Master Photographer of that body, an Honorary Member of the New Zealand Institute of Professional Photography, holds a Graduate Diploma of Visual Arts from Griffith University, a Master of NZIPP and is currently a practicing portrait photographer.
His previous life as an advertising/commercial photographer (30 years) and a lecturer at both the Griffith University (19 years) and the Queensland University of Technology (4 years) gives him a solid basis from which to critique, assess, assist and motivate your personal photographic dreams and aspirations.
Ian’s current commercial photographic interest is in carefully crafted portraits of people seeking a distinctive or discerning image of themselves.
